We handmake all our cheeses in our on-farm NYS licensed creamery and aging caves. Our primary focus is traditional- and ancient-style European cheeses using milk from our herd of Alpine and Alpine-cross goats.
We strive to bring pre-industrial traditions, recipes, and techniques into our cheesemaking process in order to produce terroir-driven foods with flavor profiles of the past.
All our cheeses are available for delivery via Moxie Ridge Market for those in our delivery area. Moxie Ridge Market customers have access to all our products throughout the seasons. We do not currently offer on-farm pickup but anticipate opening for raw milk sales and pickup later this Summer.

There are no cheeses currently shipping. We only ship our cheeses a few times a year and in limited quantities. This allows us to produce these cheeses in batches sustainable to our small production specifically for these special releases. While we do post to social media, these releases can sell out quickly on email announcements alone! If you’d like to be notified of our shipping releases, sign up on the home page.
We care deeply about our animals, and this includes the animals we raise for meat. We believe that raising animals for meat is a huge responsibility that requires providing a safe and happy life, a stress-free last day, and a commitment to honoring the food these animals become.
Our behavior-based approach to management in combination with our commitment to pre-industrial farming styles results in terroir-driven, ethically-raised meats that are truly unique and exceptional. Everything our animals eat is grown on the farm or within 10 miles. All our animals are raised outdoors according to the needs of their species.
Meats are available seasonally and in limited release. We produce lamb, mutton, goat meat, whey-fed pork, and acorn finished whey-fed pork. All processing is done at an AWA-approved USDA butcher and smokehouse here in Argyle.
All our seasonal meats are available for delivery via Moxie Ridge Market for those in our delivery area. Moxie Ridge Market customers have access to all our products throughout the seasons immediately upon release. We do not currently offer on-farm pickup but anticipate opening for raw milk sales and pickup later this Summer.

Our soaps are handmade here at the farm and revolve around ingredients grown at Moxie Ridge.
We use a refined cold-process for our goat milk bar soaps resulting in a luxury bar that never smells goaty. Just like our creamery process, we develop our soap recipes according to what works best with our ingredients, not based on what we think will sell the fastest.
Our shave soaps are made using our goat milk and rendered lard from our pigs. These soaps are wet shave soaps, meaning they are intended to be used with a single blade safety razor or straight blade and a shave brush. These are true shave soaps with voluminous lathers that vary slightly by product.
Summer of 2022 will see the opening of Small Farm School, a dream of Lee's since he began his farm journey. Inspired by his experiences as a queer adult learning to farm at 33, since that time he has wanted to create a safe and supportive learning space accessible to aspiring farmers everywhere.
Goat Wonderland is a design-focused collection of graphic apparel featuring the goats of Moxie Ridge Farm. Selected artists work together with Lee to capture the magic and chaos of these amazing animals. Each piece is printed to order in the US and shipped directly to the customer.
All sales go to the feed and veterinary care of the Moxie Ridge goats.
